Symptoms: Inventory cost of sale (ICOS) numbers shown in Delaget not matching what is shown on back of house computer
Why does this happen?: Delaget calculates all of the inventory cost of sale metrics based on what restaurants send us in the TBE file (Also known as the .000 file) every night after business close, so in most cases Delaget showing the incorrect values is an indication that an inventory count changed after data was sent to us.
Example
A location submits its weekly inventory counts at the end of the business day on a Tuesday, at which time data is sent to Delaget. The following morning the GM for the location recognizes that a count was entered incorrectly, so they make a correction in the back of house system.
In this scenario, Delaget will not be sent the updated inventory counts automatically. The end result is Delaget will show the counts as they were entered on Tuesday night whereas the back of house for the location will show the corrected inventory counts that were entered Wednesday morning.
How to fix this?: To fix this issue, Delaget needs Taco Bell to send us updated data for the time period in question. Delaget is not able to initiate repolling data from our end, so we recommend reaching out to the Taco Bell Service Desk (SOS Taco) to get assistance with this process.
